Me Myself and I... and one other person Posted by Hello

Chips Chainsaw Powercarvings

Chips' Chainsaw Powercarving Raleigh, NC http://www.logart.tk tgmiii_@msn.com About two more weeks of physical therapy on my hand. I can close it about half way now. Two more weeks and I'll be gripping my chainsaw... I hope. Anyway next three month's are pretty busy festivals, trips, cookouts, campouts. Then there's Thanksgiving and Christmas and there goes another year. The debate is tonight will everyone stick to their scripts? Tomorrow is another great day! ENJOY IT! Chip

Chips' Chainsaw Powercarving Raleigh, NC http://www.logart.tk tgmiii_@msn.com The doctor removed the pin from my finger today. It was about 2-1/2 inches long coming in from the back of the knuckle and going down the center of the bone. It held my finger at thirty degrees. It didn't hurt all I felt was the pressure as the doctor wiggled the pin back and forth and slowly pulled it out. I can bend the top joint about 1/8" and the second joint about a 1/4". I hope to get 75-85% use of that finger back in about eight weeks or so. I am going to try to hold a knife to do my chef work tomorrow and hopefully a chain saw in about three weeks . Whish me luck, Say a prayer, And light a candle, Chip

Volar plate arthoplasy Posted by Hello

Chips' Chainsaw Powercarving Raleigh, NC http://www.logart.tk tgmiii_@msn.com 9-5-04 Well the jammed finger on vacation turned into a major two hour hand surgery. Volar plate arthoplasty and pinning. I took the max. dose of perkocet after surgery, for pain and had to call 911 but told them not to come. I couldn't breath and my heart was racing. I settled down to a cold tremble. I called my wife to come home twice last week... cause I was "tripp'in" fro m the combo of anithesia and perkocet. I didn't want to die alone. I get my stitches out next week and pin out in three weeks then 3-6 month's of physical therapy. I am going to try to work Wed. If I can hold a Chefs knife. I'll update next week. Chip
